To foster independence, creativity, and a love for learning within a wholesome and nurturing environment.
Thank You for Visiting the Montessori of Chino Hills. We are a leader in traditional Montessori education and our objective is to nurture your child and to help you with the important work of guiding his or her intellectual, emotional and physical development.
We are a family run business with more than 25 years of experience in operating Montessori Method based childcare centers. Montessori of Chino Hills is dedicated to providing the ideal learning environment for children using Montessori philosophy. Our child-centered, holistic and positive approach to education excites the minds and nurtures the imagination of all students.
The goal of our schools is to provide excellent academic programs and childcare within a safe, loving environment. Our program gives children a great foundation for the future and prepares them for success in elementary school and beyond.
We offer a variety of affordable programs including half day, full day and full extended day to meet the needs of working parents. Our programs include a free lunch with milk and two snacks each day for our students.
Our Montessori Infant and Toddler Program provides a warm, nurturing environment where children from birth to age three can grow, explore, and develop independence at their own pace. Carefully prepared classrooms and child-sized materials support movement, language, and sensory development. Montessori-trained teachers respectfully guide each child, fostering confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Our Montessori Pre School Toddler Program Program provides a warm, nurturing environment where children can grow, explore, and develop independence at their own pace. Carefully prepared classrooms and child-sized materials support movement, language, and sensory development. Montessori-trained teachers respectfully guide each child, fostering confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
The Montessori twos program is designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children who are between 2-3 years old. In this program, the emphasis is on fostering the child’s independence, curiosity, and love for learning through hands-on activities and guided play. The environment is carefully prepared to allow children to explore and engage in age-appropriate activities that support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. In addition to the typical Montessori twos program, we have incorporated potty training into their curriculum. Potty training in a Montessori setting often involves a child-led approach, where teachers work closely with parents to support the child’s natural development and independence in this area. This may include creating a child-friendly and accessible potty area, using positive reinforcement, and encouraging self-care skills.
Our classrooms are filled with inviting, hands-on activities that are thoughtfully organized into different sections of the room based on the primary areas of our curriculum: language, math, sensorial development, practical life, and cultural awareness.
We expose children to a range of intellectual, physical, and social activities, and we give them periods of uninterrupted time to work in these activities. In this way children take responsibility for their own learning. They learn to ask questions and to seek explanations and then to ask more questions. They learn to make decisions, to challenge themselves, and to strategize.
At Montessori School of Chino Hills, our Kindergarten through Elementary program builds on the child’s natural curiosity and love of learning by providing a rich, hands-on academic experience tailored to each student’s individual pace and interests. In this mixed-age learning environment, children deepen their understanding of language, mathematics, science, cultural studies, and practical life skills using specially designed Montessori materials that make abstract concepts concrete and meaningful. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning, work collaboratively with peers, and develop strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through engaging projects, integrated lessons, and real-world exploration, our program nurtures confidence, independence, creativity, and a lifelong passion for discovery as children transition from Kindergarten into the early elementary years. Montessori education honors each child’s unique development and equips them with the academic foundation and self-discipline needed for future success
Our Montessori After-School Program for elementary students offers a calm, structured, and engaging environment after the school day. Children have time for homework support, independent work, creative projects, and outdoor play. Guided by Montessori principles, the program promotes responsibility, self-direction, and respectful collaboration while allowing children to relax, recharge, and explore their interests.
We take great care in selecting experienced Montessori teachers as well as providing opportunities to individuals seeking to enter into the field of childcare. We are proud to have Internationally qualified AMI, AMS and IAPM teachers in the classrooms at our school. We design and maintain classrooms which provide a nurturing environment that encourages each child’s individuality and academic and social growth.
Our schools are a faithful reflection of Dr. Montessori’s remarkable vision and method. Her love and respect for children informs and inspires the teachings of our certified Montessori educators. In the best Montessori tradition, they observe and meet the needs of each child in our care, enabling him or her to develop the habits, attitudes, skills and ideas that lead to a lifetime of creative thinking and learning.
